Why are we are destroying our planet ?

Our planet has a finite number of animals and plants. If we keep going the way we are, eventually there will be nothing left.

There is only so much oil, only so much coal, only so much uranium. And yet there is abundant sunlight (at least for another few billion years) and by that time we could have transferred us all to another solar system.

Why is it that Australia especially is not going all out to replace the fossil fuel power stations with Solar, Wind, Geothermal and Tidal/Wave power generation. MONEY, that’s why, big business are just too greedy.

Any politicians reading this please wake up and stop the senseless destruction of the only planet that we currently know we can exist on.

Any big business people reading this please take your oportunity to jump on the green bandwagon as that is where your future business will have to operate.

Any other people reading this post, please speak up and let your local member of parliament know how you feel and that you will not except anything other than total respect for our environment.

    We will wake up only when the world will start to really fall apart.When will be close to extinction ourself.Than and just than , we might change our society system for a brighter future and that when money won’t mean jack.That when we will evolve and reach a new summit in evolution.

    Like you said money is everything.Itès not only about greed . It’s about surviving.Governement are surviving because of money . That because of money you’re not starving right now.

    The thing right now we want to expand to fast.We’re simply going to fast.We’re scared of our own destiny and push the timelimit faster and faster.We run run run .It’s like a race out there in this civilisation.It’s a race against time.We want to succeed and succeed and the image it’s only what count today . THE IMAGE.

    But we’re destroying that tiny blue planet faster.How we will survive?only when the system is going to change.

    Thank you for speaking the truth. I see with my own eyes, that we are slowly, but surely destroying our blue spaceship earth. I do not need to watch “Discovery Channel” or CNN to be aware of this. Everyone is aware of it, but does nothing about it (unless somehow a financial gain is involved).
    Here is the correct answer to the problem:
    “The System” prevents us humans from doing something about our self destruction.
    I could elaborate much further and explain, but will not. Its futile, like swimming against a strong current. There are almost 7 billion individual reasons for not able to “help” save our world. Most of you understand what I mean.

    You say almost 7 billion individual reasons and I come here and read 2 comments? This my friends is what it’s all about, this is how humanity pursues the greatest threat to the planet Earth and the only home mankind will ever have, 2 comments! Out of almost 7 BILLION people? Is it anywhere near a fraction of a posibility that that many people have their heads jammed that far up their asses? Honestly….this goes beyond a total digrace.
